Bite Sized Duets (NEW)
The next set of mini-duets are here. Each of these duets is roughly 16-20 measures long and are perfect for your beginning band students to play at the Spring Concert. They range from Grade 0.75-Grade 1.5. If your students would be excited to perform with a friend, this is a great way to foster independence of parts very early on.

Roughly 20 of my Beginning Band Students wanted to perform in a duet at my Winter Concert. I wrote these up so that they could do so. They performed in the five minutes leading up to the concert start time. If students would be excited to perform with a friend, this is a great way to foster independence of parts very early on.

I started using this daily warm up right after the Holiday Break. Nothing revolutionary here. Some Long Tones Exercises, Chromatic Exercises & Articulation Exercises. This also aims to help clarinets cross the break.
RHYTHM SHEET - CLICK HERE
I use this sheet on a daily basis with my beginning band students. It has been an extremely successful tool in my classroom. We do one line every day or two. If students struggle with it, we'll do two measures instead of a whole line. Or sometimes, we'll repeat a day.
